Dr. Cam Truong, D.C.

Dr. Cam Truong received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Maryland and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College, where she graduated with honors. Having been a high-achieving student and a natural leader, Dr. Truong was inducted into the prestigious Omega Psi Honor society as well as served as a Teaching Assistant and tutor to fellow students. Additionally, Dr. Truong supplemented her studies with advanced training courses in Graston Technique® and Kinesio Taping®. During her clinical training, Dr. Truong was one of a few select interns chosen to participate in the highly-esteemed Rice University Sports Medicine Rotation, in which she was able to hone her skills in functional assessments and performance optimization as she cared for the NCAA athletes under the focused guidance and close supervision of the late Dr. Timothy Lee.

Dr. Truong is board-certified with Physiotherapy privileges by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is actively licensed as a Supervisory Doctor through the Maryland Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Throughout her career, Dr. Truong has been a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Maryland Chiropractic Association, as well as the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association.

With a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Truong has successfully treated numerous patients who suffered from acute injuries sustained in automobile, work or other types of accidents as well as those which results from taking part in sports. She has also had great success in treating more chronic issues, which are typically brought on by repetitive stress activities, aberrant postures, sedentary lifestyles (lack of active movements), or from arthritis. Dr. Truong is looking forward to helping you achieve optimal health!
